Hi Eileen, Those muscari are unusual. Love your rhodies! Yellow is such a cheerful color and so bright against the brown ground; must be why we love daffodils so much!
God bless, Beth

Ah, lovely. It won't be long and you will be seeing it all again.

It will be awhile before I see any of it. Today we are getting another heavy wet snow storm -- six inches so far.....

Seeing all of those lovely spring blooms just makes one more anxious to see them blooms again. You had so many bright and cheery yellows in your spring garden. It will not be much longer now!

Hi Beth,

Those muscari are very fluffy, my favorite.

Hi Jennifer,

That seems to be what we are getting now, warm ups and then blasts of snow.

A great big howdy from North Carolina where everything you posted has bloomed already. I know you're having a mild winter in Chicago as well.

Just now getting my new blog together so y'all come on over for a visit.

Surprise!! Roger had a knee replacement 3 weeks ago and my life changed for awhile. You have been in my thoughts and just wanted to say hi. Spring is around the corner and the soil so much warmer than in years past. I am so looking forward to those little spikes of green coming forth. As always, you are a great coach for all of us and you just seem to get better!!!

Hi Eileen, I love your pre-spring photos! Your photo of 'Itzim' daffodil looks a lot like an early clump that is blooming now in my garden. Thank yo for the ID.

Sorry I've been away so long. Your blog is always such a treat.

Are those pictures from last spring? I know we've had a warm winter, and some things are blooming, but that's impressive if they're from this year.

Also, this was possibly the first year my 'Christmas Rose' could've bloomed on Christmas Day and it didn't even bother to try, unlike in previous year when it budded and then was killed down with freezing temps and snow.

Hi MBT,

Those really are from last year but I do have Early Sensatio Daffodil just about ready to open on the south side.
