Home Run Red
One of my 4" pots last year just about full grown this year, one of the differences between this and Knockout is the vibrancy of the red color. These were sent to me by Proven Winners Choice.
As Allan Armitage said if he had one coneflower to choose it would be Kim's Knee High! This is Kim's Knee High Red, beautiful deep magenta color a much stronger specimen than Pow Wow.
Mango is a strong Meadowbrite much more stable than Art's Pride Meadowbrite.

Hope you got lots of rain last night, Eileen. We got almost 2 inches in our south suburb. It was much needed, and everything looks so much happier in the garden this morning.
In spite of the lack of rain, your garden looks beautiful. Seems to be a great year for hydrangeas - kind of puzzling considering the lack of rain.
We did get some rain last night but not nearly as much as in the South suburbs. We got under one inch and I hear some far south got ten inches.

Your garden is looking beautiful. The hydrangea is just gorgeous. This has been a good year for them compared to last year even with some burnt leaves. I hope you are getting some rain. We got a good shower this morning but need more.
Your Knee High Echincaea is so pretty. I am so disappointed in Pow Wow Wildberry. I love the yellow one too. Forgot the name already. Sure my memory is sharp. LOL!

Eileen girl I have some buds on my hydrangea "Quick Fire" but I am waiting on the rest of them such as Lets Dance Starlight .. my yellow day lilies are opening .. lots of buds etc .. but I think you have more heat and stress going on where you are than we are .. rain was supposed to drop by today but not so far so I will be out with the hose too .. this is the part of gardening I don't like so much !LOL

Those Endless Summer's are stunning! How old are they?
I have Forever and Ever and they do nothing. I think they are 3 or 4 years old and they only get a foot or two tall and, if they get two flowers, I am lucky.
Hi Eileen, You have so much in flower! The Endless Summer hydrangea that you opened with is simply stunning! Though we had a mild winter here too, mine died to the ground. The dry spring seems to have stunted its growth as well. Perhaps, like you, I should favour mine with more water and a low nitrogen fertilizer.

The Endless Summer is really unusual this year with several shades of pink and blue on each bush.

My Endless Summer Hydrangeas are about four years old. They have never had more than a half dozen big blooms and this year they have a ton but somewhat smaller blooms.
