Around The Garden

I think I am a day late this week, missed Fertilizer Friday, and it is supposed to rain again today.  It was very humid yesterday, close to 90 degrees, not a day to be working outside.

There is a lot blooming, so I'll just stay in the back garden today.

  1. Dear Eileen, Such colour and so much of interest. Your garden really is a delight and I am always so impressed with how well grown and cared for your plants are. Here in Budapest we are having similar temperatures to yours but without the humidity - always a dry heat.

  2. Eileen your garden is just so pretty right now. The begonias are so vibrant and pretty. I am probably the only gardener know that can kill or cannot grow begonias LOL! I love the Variegated Heliopsis. Your roses are so beautiful and I really like the first one.It has the glossy green leaves too. A steamy, stormy weekend here again.

  4. Edith, I can't believe the amount of rain we have had and now the heat. Everything will be giant which creates the flops. Enjoy your visit to Budapest.

  5. Lona, I think I am really going to like this new rose. I will take another picture, as it opens to a huge single in a beautiful color. It's raining every day here, little break this afternoon and now again dark. You'll probably be getting this soon.

  7. Your garden is getting more colorful by the day! Looks great... we have had some lovely cool days and plenty of rain, but not too much at this point! Larry

  8. I enjoyed your photos. Your garden beds look full and pretty, despite the rabbit damage. The rabbits here, ate my variegated heliopsis, but I'm hoping for a full recovery.

  9. Thanks for visiting Sue. I think the rabbits are winning! The plants may come back but many of them are eaten so far down I can't see them right now.
